workshop
POETRY AND PERFORMANCE
with Maria Caetano Vilalobos

Poetry is something we all have within us, yet is often silenced by the fear of failure, of being ridiculed, and so many other anxieties. In this workshop, Maria will guide you through three hours of facing these fears and turn them against themselves. You’ll learn how to be vulnerable in a relaxing and safe environment, to allow you not only to work on coming up with words, but also how to perform them in front of the other participants.

Maria Caetano Vilalobos is a powerhouse of theatre and poetry. Her vast credits in Portugal – her country of origin – include appearances in Portugal Got Talent, multiple theatre tours with plays of her authorship, as well as the participation in musical projects. Internationally, she has performed all over the world, from Budapest to Maputo, including participations in Slam Poetry competitions (having won the Audience Favourite award at the European Slam Championship ’24).

HUMANS AND FRIENDS
with special guest to be revealed

We’re bringing our regular show into this year’s Fest! But what is Humans And Friends? Well, it’s a show which is half-conversation about making music and half playing music, featuring Jam With Humans maestros and Orchestra members. Plus, you’re invited to join-in on the fun, by chiming-in during the conversation part, and when the time comes, to jump on stage to play with us!

MUSIC, PART TWO INVITES
MARIA CAETANO VILALOBOS

Music, Part Two is our project in which we attempt to make brand new music, different from anything ever played before. We’ve been doing it for over two years (having performed its original show in its entirety at the Fest’24 and ’25). Therefore, we need some help, and for that reason, we invited Maria: a brilliant slam poet, who’s certainly capable of instigating a whole new genre of music to be produced. Only show of its kind, be sure to be there!

FANCY DRESS PARTY INVITES
ADA RAVE

We’ll be privileged to have a star of the Dutch improvisational music scene joining our party! Ada Rave and her sax will join Albert (flute), Anastasiya (cello) and Daniel (drums) in a party full of musical conversations. It’s a free jazz show with a bit of drag (you’ll see why…).

LUCKY DUOS

The name of a musician is drawn from a hat. They go on stage and start playing. Then a second name is drawn, and a second musician joins them. Once the third musician is called on stage, the first leaves… and so on. It’s a show of improvised duos, a magical experience which has been part of the Jam With Humans Fest since its premiere in 2018.

THE JAM WITH HUMANS FEST 2026 GALA
FEATURING MULTIPLE HORSES

A truly explosive show to close yet another year of Jam With Humans activities! Every year we work hard for many months on bringing together a stupendous closing show, and this year we might just raise that bar way up high. Expect… things you’d expect from a gala (no spoilers), punctuated by the avant-garde rock of Multiple Horses.
