Film screening & Q&A with Merijn Tinga
We’ll be screening the latest film by the Plastic Soup Surfer, and afterward, you can chat with Merijn Tinga himself. Ask all your questions about his mission to combat plastic pollution and his adventures across the oceans.

Special Act: Astiroids & Multiple Horses
The improvisational rappers of Astiroids will bring a unique, interactive, zero-waste act – especially for this evening! A performance you won’t soon forget. Multiple Horses plays rock from the heart: epic, captivating, and elusive. The lineup changes, as do the influences: from traditional music from various corners of the world to pure improvisation. Every show is different, tailored to the location and the people. Sometimes there are three of them, sometimes many more!

Drinks & Meet-Up:
Afterward, there’s a cozy get-together where you can meet the workshop leaders who will be working this week.

The alderman will be present to officially open the festival. This marks the start of a week full of circular economy and zero waste in Leiden!
